Lesson 1: Stamp Therapy Heart Throb Edition
Get started with layering inks and mixing and matching stamps to create collages!
The BEST PART of celebrating VALENTINE’S day is creating slightly EXTRAVAGANT cards and taking advantage of the excuse of FEBRUARY 14th to proclaim my love for the people in my life who mean the most to me!
Valentine’s Day is the ultimate “paper lover’s” holiday: pretty papers cut and folded, cheeky messages stamped in pink and red inks, layers of intricate doilies topped with paper hearts all work together to become beautiful handmade cards and tags tucked inside envelopes tied with ribbons and accompanied by indulgent chocolate, heart-shaped treats!
Welcome to PAPER HEARTS! Join me as we make some “extravagant” Valentine-inspired creations to celebrate those we love! (And shh, don’t tell them it’s really because we are actually indulging our own LOVE for paper, stamps, and the creative process!)
In this class, I’ll start with some “stamp therapy” by sharing my favorite tips for combining stamps and mixing inks to create spectacular stamped images using the new HEART THROB stamp set. We will include those stamped images as we create truly unique, interactive, and stunning gift-able, awe-inspiring cards! The HEART THROB envelope stack and card bases will combine with ALL the pretty embellishments and dies to create spectacular layered mini-COLLAGES.
